By using TidyRecap you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool.
1. The service
TidyRecap is a free service. It turns a transcript or a short recording into a written draft. There is no account and no paid plan. We may change, limit or stop the service, or any part of it, at any time.
2. Age
You must be 18 or older to use the tool.
3. Your content and consent
- Upload or paste only content you have the right to process.
- Before you run the tool, the people in the recording or transcript must have agreed to it being recorded and processed. In many places, recording a conversation without consent is against the law.
- Follow your employer's or school's rules about meeting content and online tools.
- You keep all rights to your content. We do not store it and we claim no rights to it.
4. AI output accuracy
Results are written by AI. They can mishear words, get names, numbers or dates wrong, mix up speakers, leave things out or state things that were not said. Check every result before you use it or send it to anyone. You are responsible for what you do with it. Do not rely on a result as legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the tool to:
- process recordings made in secret or without the speakers' consent;
- harass, deceive or harm anyone, or break any law;
- process content that you know to be illegal;
- get around the daily limits, for example with scripts or many addresses;
- attack, overload or test the security of the service without our written permission.
We may block access if we see this kind of use.
6. Countries
The tool is not available in countries where United States sanctions or export rules forbid it, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria. Do not use it from those places or on behalf of people there.
7. Limit changes
The current limits are 30 minutes per recording, 60,000 characters of text, 5 runs and 30 minutes of audio per visitor per day, and a shared daily limit for the whole site. Days reset at 00:00 UTC. We may change these limits at any time without notice, for example when the service is busy.
8. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, as far as the law allows. We do not promise that it will be available, fast, accurate or free of errors.
9. Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using or not being able to use the service, or from relying on its results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Other companies
Parts of the service are provided by other companies, listed on the privacy page. Guide pages may show ads from Google. We are not responsible for other websites that ads or links lead to.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the tool after a change, the new terms apply.
