Privacy policy
The short version
- We store nothing you paste or upload. Your audio, transcript and result pass through memory while the tool works, and are then dropped.
- Results stay in your browser tab. When you close the tab, the result is gone. We do not save it in your browser either.
- We keep daily counters and contact messages. Your counts are kept under a scrambled code instead of your IP address and deleted after 2 days. Site-wide daily totals hold nothing about any one visitor and are kept for 90 days. A message you send with the contact form is kept for 90 days, then deleted.
- Other companies do part of the work. They are named below, with their country and what they keep.
- Contact messages are kept for 90 days. If you write to us with the contact form, we keep the message so we can read and answer it. Only the site owner reads it.
- No accounts and no share links. Your text never goes into a web address. The tool never asks for an email address. The contact form asks for one only if you want a reply.
Pasted text
- Your browser sends the text to our server in the body of a secure (HTTPS) request, never in the web address.
- Our server passes it to the AI model that writes the result, together with instructions for the purpose you chose.
- The result is sent back to your browser as it is written.
- Our server keeps none of your text. We do not log request bodies and we do not write your text to any database or file.
Uploaded recordings
- Your browser opens the audio file on your device, checks that it is 30 minutes or shorter, and cuts it into short pieces of about 20 seconds.
- Each piece is sent to our server and passed straight to a speech-to-text model (Whisper, run by Cloudflare Workers AI). The text comes back to your browser.
- The audio pieces are not saved by us. The file name is not sent to our server.
- You can read and edit the transcript before you choose a purpose. From there it works the same way as pasted text.
Data we keep
To stop the free service being used up by one person, we count use per visitor per day. We store:

| The number of contact messages sent that day from your connection and from your network, each under a scrambled code, and the number for the whole site. The network is the first three parts of an IPv4 address, or the first 48 bits of an IPv6 address. These codes are made like the visitor code above, but they never equal it. Deletion does not run on a timer. Each day, the first use of the tool or the contact form after 00:00 UTC deletes the rows that are past their age. So a row can stay up to about one day longer than the time above. When nobody uses the site for a while, it stays until the next use.
We do not keep your IP address, your transcript, your result, your file name or your browser details. We run no analytics or tracking on the tool page.
Our hosting provider sees your IP address to deliver the site, as any web host does. Your country, which Cloudflare works out from your IP address, is used on each request to apply the country rules in our terms. It is not stored by us, except with a message you send with the contact form.

So the honest summary is: we store none of your text, audio or results (apart from contact form messages, kept for 90 days), Cloudflare does not keep your text, and when the Claude engine is on, Anthropic deletes it within 30 days.
Cookies and ads
The tool page sets no advertising cookies and loads no ad code. The guide pages may show Google ads once our ad account is active. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent message before any personalised ads load. You can change ad personalisation at My Ad Center, and read more in Google's advertising policy.
Transfers to other countries
For visitors in Singapore (PDPA): your text and audio are processed by Cloudflare on servers that may be outside Singapore. When the Claude engine is on, your text is also sent to Anthropic in the United States. Both companies protect data under their own published policies, linked above. Messages you send with the contact form are stored by Cloudflare, possibly outside Singapore. If you do not want this transfer, do not run the tool. The guides work without sending us anything.

If you do not want your data transferred, do not run the tool and do not use the contact form. Reading the guides sends us nothing you typed.
Your choices and rights
Because we store nothing you paste or upload, there is nothing for us to show you, correct or delete later. The daily counters are kept under a scrambled code, not your IP address, and they are deleted after 2 days. If you have a question or a request about your data, use the contact page. That is also our data protection contact.
Contact messages are the one thing we keep that you type. To ask for a copy of yours or to have it deleted, send a new message with the topic "Privacy or data request" and your message number. Otherwise it is deleted after 90 days.
Content about other people
A recording or transcript usually contains other people's voices and names. Before you run the tool, you confirm that you have the right to process it and that the people in it agreed. If you think this tool was used on your voice or words without your agreement, tell us through the contact page.
Age
The tool is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly process data from children.
Changes
If we change how data is handled, for example by adding a new processor, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
