About TidyRecap
TidyRecap turns a meeting transcript or a short recording into the write-up you need: a summary, action items, formal minutes, a follow-up email, or lecture and interview notes.
The team
TidyRecap is run by a small independent team that builds simple tools. Each tool does one job on one page, with no sign-up.
Background
Most people who record a meeting do not want "a summary". They want something specific: minutes for the file, a list of who does what, or an email to send the client. Many tools ask you to create an account and upload your recording to their storage before you see anything.
We wanted the opposite. Choose the purpose first. Get the layout that purpose needs. Store none of your text. Work in Korean as well as English, including a proper Korean 회의록 layout.
Funding
The tool is free. The site is paid for by ads on the guide pages, such as the templates and how-to pages. There are never ads on the tool page, where your transcript and results are shown.
The AI that does the work costs money every time it runs. That is why there is a daily limit per visitor and for the whole site.
Our promises
- We store nothing you paste or upload. Results stay in your browser tab.
- No account and no share links. The tool never asks for your email address.
- Messages sent with the contact form are kept for 90 days, then deleted.
- We tell you which companies process your text, on the privacy page.
- We never send anything on your behalf.
Guides written for people
The guides are useful on their own. Every example meeting in them is invented, and every template can be copied and used without the tool.
